The oldest clogs have been found in the Netherlands and are dated to the year 1230, but when worn out shoes often were burned they can originally come from another place. In the 1970’s they were very popular and became associated as "The Swedish Clog ". It was during this period that Kerstin Adolphson opened their store in Paris and the queue stretched quickly all along the street with curious customers. Since then the clog was developed in a modern style with new designs and colors but still with the original form preserved.
